The HD 8000 offers a 14" (356mm) legal size capacity and closes books from 3/16" to 1 1/4" thick (5mm to 32mm). The settings for wire sizes are fast and accurate, providing a significant savings on wire costs: wire that is spoiled during the set-up and adjustment of competitive closers. An available optional wire hanger attaches to the HD 8000 and holds the wire in position to hang punched sheets onto the double loop wire. 14" (356mm) wire binding modules shown here with OD 4012 Punch, also mounts on the OD 4300, HD 7000 and HD 7700: Just imagine, a manual wire closer that inserts the wire into the document while closing the wire. Performance Design not only imagined it , we designed and built it. The HD 8370 makes wire closing fast and easy. As simple as ABC, (A) Insert the wire into the closer. (B) Place the document on the closer table. (C) Pull the handle. Your document is now finished in seconds. Binding books from 5½" to 14" (140mm to 356mm) in width and from ¼" through 9/16" (6mm through 14mm) thickness, the HD-8370 closes the standard 3-1 pitch wire. |

The OD-3500 combo binding station allows you to do three types of binding on one small footprint: plastic coil, double loop wire or plastic comb. Essentially, it allows the use of 3 binding machines in one small footprint. All HD and OD modules will mount on your OD series punch. |

The Plastic Spiral inserter will bind books up to 1-1/8" (28mm) thick using coil diameter up to 1-1/4" (32mm). The OD-4300 provides electric coil inserting and features our patented Lexan Guide for easier insertion of all coils, particularly in books 9/16" (14mm) thick and up. The unit will handle coil lengths from 6" to 36" (152mm - 914mm), providing you with more flexibility for large jobs and calendars. The unit attaches to the right side of the Combo binding station or OD-4000/4800 using two wing nuts for easy installation. The OD 4300 is shown attached to the OD 4012.
